RAF F-35B Lightning II

The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a family of single-seat, single-engine, fifth generation multirole fighters under development to perform ground attack, reconnaissance, and air defence missions with stealth capability. The RAF currently operates nine of the F-35B type which is the Short Take Off Vertical Landing (STOVL) variant. The aircraft are based at Marham in Norfolk.
