Lions
The most powerful predator on the African plains, lions are impressive from a distance, but close up their awesome power becomes even more evident; the thing I always notice is the size fo their front paws, which are absolutely huge. Whilst you stay in your safari vehicle, they’re largely indifferent to your presence - step out, however, and it would be a rather different story!
