Boeing E3 Sentry

On a recent visit to RAF Mildenhall, a base operated by the USAF and largely populated by KC-135, EC-135 and V22 aircraft, I was rather surprised to see a Boeing E3 Sentry doing “circuits and bumps”, but it enabled me to get these shots. The age of the aircraft is clear from its old technology engines leaving considerable smokey trails wherever it flies.
