Solitaire, Namibia

We recently returned from a three week trip to Namibia. This has been a dream destination for many years, so it was great to finally make it there. As well as the usual safari elements, Namibia has some absolutely incredible scenery, almost enough to get me interested in landscape photography. Anyhow, the first photo location on this trip was a place called Solitaire. It’s in the middle of nowhere and consists of a fuel station, repair garage, a bar/ restaurant, and a bakery famous for its apple pie. Yes, really.
