Horsey Seals

At Horsey on the Norfolk coast in the UK, a large population of grey seals come ashore to give birth to their pups. The area is well-marshalled to keep people at a safe distance. Although these animals look cute, they pack a ferocious set of teeth, and a large male can weigh up to 300lbs, so they are not to be messed with. All shots here were taken with my 150-600mm Sigma zoom fitted to my Canon 80d, which gives a 1.6 crop factor. This allows me to get close-up photographs of the seals, without actually getting close up to them.
